Dear Partner,
We are very much glad to resume NJ LAS services through E-sign mode from 21st of March 2018.
To comply with the regulatory requirements we have made some operational changes as mentioned below:
- As per the new regulatory guidelines, multiple authentication will be required for LAS form and Pledge. Hence, 2 times OTP / Biometric authentication will be required for Processing LAS request.
- CKYC (Central KYC) will now be mandatory for processing LAS application.
- We have already processed CKYC for all NJ E Wealth Account customers. However, If you come across few rare case where CKYC is pending in such situation we request you to fill the attached CKYC form for all holders and submit the same to nearest NJ branch along with the copy of aadhaar.CKYC shall get updated in 3 to 4 working days after submission to NJ branch after that LAS application can be processed.
Other Important Points for doing E-signature authentication:
- E-signature for LAS will be done through NSDL Portal now.
- We strongly recommend to do Authentication through OTP only in case Mobile number is registered with UIDAI.
- For doing biometric authentication on NSDL Portal, the page will show 10 fingers and user will have to select the finger through which Bio Metric authentication will be done. If any other finger is placed biometric authentication will fail.
- Currently NSDL Module for doing biometric authentication will work only on Google Chrome v-63 or more so request you access modules only through the said browsers. We are working to make it compatible with other browsers.
